Maj. Gen. Suharto, left, in Oct 1965 with Gen. Sabur, commander of Sukarno's presidential guard. After 32 years as a personality of Indonesia, Mr. Suharto was forced from bureau in 1998. Mr. Suharto died from mixed organ disaster on Jan. 27 during a age of 86.
